The Overland Park Party Bus Company for Every Occasion
Party Buses Kansas City has been coordinating group transportation across the metro since 2011. We give your group access to a wide fleet — 14-passenger Sprinter limos, 15- to 50-passenger party buses, 15- to 35-passenger minibuses, and 40- to 56-passenger charter buses — with all-inclusive pricing you can see online before you ever commit. No hidden costs, no phone-tag to get a number.
Overland Park is Johnson County's largest city, and it generates some of the metro's most demanding group travel: Blue Valley and Shawnee Mission school districts fill the prom calendar every April and May, the corporate campuses along College Boulevard keep executive shuttles running year-round, and the restaurant-and-nightlife belt on 119th Street and Metcalf Avenue makes weekend party runs a weekly occurrence. Our 24/7 reservation team knows the local corridors — when I-435 bogs down heading toward Lenexa, when US-69 backs up at the 135th Street interchange — and we coordinate the route and timing so your group is where it needs to be, on time. Call 816-255-1970 and a live agent picks up around the clock.

How Much Does It Cost to Rent a Party Bus in Overland Park?
All-inclusive pricing loads in under 30 seconds on our online tool — you will know the exact number before you ever book. General ranges: 14-passenger Sprinter limos run $170–$344/hour; 15–20 passenger party buses run $204–$378/hour; 20–30 passenger party buses run $244–$414/hour; 35–50 passenger party buses and minibuses run $294–$490/hour; 40–56 passenger charter buses run $150–$300/hour or $1,200–$2,500/day.
Pricing shifts with the date, mileage, and vehicle type. Johnson County prom weekends in late April and May are the single tightest period for availability in the entire metro — rates climb and buses disappear fast once Blue Valley Northwest, SM East, and the other district schools set their dates. Book those dates by December.
For most other occasions, two to four weeks of lead time is workable. Call 816-255-1970 for a free, no-obligation quote.

Why Book Your Party Bus With Us in Overland Park?
Overland Park is a city built around driving — wide arterials, abundant parking, and a layout that makes individual cars feel easy right up until your whole group is trying to coordinate across four different rideshares after midnight. That is when a single bus makes everything simpler: one pickup spot, one price split across the group, one arrival time, and no one drawing straws for a designated driver on Metcalf Avenue.
Party Buses Kansas City has coordinated group transportation for thousands of groups across the metro since 2011 — prom runs out of Blue Valley High School, corporate shuttles between the Overland Park Convention Center and Country Club Plaza hotels, fan buses up I-435 to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Our reservation team is available 24/7/365, pricing is all-inclusive with no surprise line items, and ADA-accessible vehicles are always on standby. When you book with us, you get a single point of contact from the first quote through final drop-off, and a fleet wide enough that you always get the right-size vehicle — not whatever is left.

Group Transportation Services for Every Overland Park Event
Party Buses Kansas City coordinates group transportation for every occasion across Overland Park and the surrounding metro. Whatever brings your group together — airport transfers, prom night, a Chiefs game, a wedding weekend — we have a vehicle and a plan ready. Call 816-255-1970 to get your group moving.

Overland Park Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Kansas City International Airport (MCI) (1 Kansas City Airport Dr, Kansas City, MO 64153) sits roughly 35 miles north of Overland Park's corporate core on College Boulevard — a straightforward I-435 to I-29 run in normal conditions, but a crawl when a morning ground delay stacks departing passengers and rush-hour traffic converge on the same window. For a company group catching an early flight, or a wedding party flying in from out of town, coordinating a dozen individual car trips to MCI creates a dozen individual chances for someone to miss the cutoff.
An Overland Park airport shuttle bus rental compresses that into one pickup, one arrival time, and undercarriage bays deep enough for everything the group is hauling. Commercial bus pickup at MCI follows the Ground Transportation zones at the terminal curb — your group gathers inside after baggage claim, then your coordinator calls to bring the bus over once everyone is together. We track flight arrivals and adjust for delays so the bus is there when your group walks out, not 40 minutes before.
Call 816-255-1970 to book your MCI group transfer today.

Overland Park Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
The 119th Street and Metcalf corridor has enough bars, restaurants, and late-night spots to build a full bachelorette itinerary without leaving Johnson County — and the party does not need to end there when Kansas City's Power & Light District is 25 minutes north. The problem with driving that route is that someone has to stay sober, the group fragments across multiple cars, and the end of the night usually involves waiting 30 minutes for rideshares that charge surge pricing after midnight.
An Overland Park bachelorette party bus keeps the whole squad on one vehicle with the bar already built in, the sound system loaded with the bride's playlist, and no one worrying about how to get home from downtown KC at 2 a.m. We build a custom stop list — dinner, first bar, dance venue, late-night closer — and the itinerary runs on your schedule. Call 816-255-1970 to plan the night.

Overland Park Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
For a Sweet 16 or quinceañera in Johnson County, arriving in a party bus is the entrance. Our 15- to 50-passenger party buses can be booked in white, black, or silver to coordinate with a color scheme, and the onboard LED lighting, sound system, and lounge seating mean the celebration starts the moment the group boards — not when they walk into the venue. Whether the event is at a banquet hall in Overland Park, a reception venue in Leawood, or dinner at one of the restaurants on 135th Street, we build the pickup-and-drop schedule around your timeline.
Adult milestone birthdays heading for a night at the Power & Light District or a rooftop bar in the Crossroads Arts District can skip the parking garage situation entirely — everyone rides together, no one juggles a Lyft ETA, and the bus is waiting when the group is ready to leave. We match the vehicle size to your headcount, so you never pay for empty seats. Call 816-255-1970 to plan your Overland Park birthday party bus rental.

Overland Park Concert Transportation & Shuttles
The Overland Park area feeds into several major concert venues, and the post-show parking scramble is a different kind of ordeal at each one. Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs (633 N 130th St, Bonner Springs, KS 66012) sits at the end of a two-lane approach on K-32 — when 18,000 people head for their cars simultaneously, the lot exit backs up for well over an hour. T-Mobile Center (1407 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64106) puts you downtown in a paid-garage situation where post-show surge pricing routinely doubles what you paid to park.
Starlight Theatre in Swope Park (4600 Starlight Rd, Kansas City, MO 64132) means a winding two-lane exit through the park in the dark.
An Overland Park concert party bus rental cuts out all three problems: the bus takes your group to the venue, waits during the show, and picks everyone up at the agreed curb when the encore ends. The built-in bar and sound system keep the energy going on the way there and on the ride home. Call 816-255-1970 for a free quote.

Overland Park Corporate Event Transportation
Overland Park is one of the densest corporate corridors in the Midwest — Sprint/T-Mobile's campus sits on Lamar Avenue, Black & Veatch is headquartered on College Boulevard, and a constant rotation of conferences runs through the Overland Park Convention Center (6000 College Blvd, Overland Park, KS 66211). Shuttling attendees between that convention center and hotels on Metcalf or College without a coordinated bus means a parking garage bill per car and a wait for elevators that chews up the first ten minutes of every breakout session.
A corporate bus rental in Overland Park keeps the team together and on schedule. Minibuses handle the College Boulevard–to–hotel loop cleanly, with WiFi and power outlets so the commute doubles as prep time. For larger conferences pulling in attendees from KCI, a charter bus runs the airport-to-convention-center leg in one coordinated block instead of a parade of rideshares.
Call 816-255-1970 to discuss contract shuttle rates for multi-day events.

Overland Park Private Event Transportation Services
Overland Park's event calendar fills up faster than most residents expect. The Kansas City Renaissance Festival in Bonner Springs draws tens of thousands of visitors each September and October, and the two-lane stretch of K-7 approaching the festival grounds turns into a standstill by mid-morning on peak weekends — the lot fills, the road backs up, and the walk from remote parking is a genuine hike. A private charter bus from Overland Park drops your group at the gates before the worst of it sets in.
Family reunions spanning multiple Overland Park-area venues, church retreats heading to the Ozarks, and group outings to Worlds of Fun (4545 Worlds of Fun Ave, Kansas City, MO 64161) — one bus handles the logistics while everyone else focuses on the actual event. Instead of splitting your group across a caravan of cars and losing someone at every turn, a flat bus rate covers the whole crew from pickup to drop-off. Call 816-255-1970 and we will build the plan.

Overland Park Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Johnson County's school district calendar turns prom season into the most competitive booking window in the entire metro. Blue Valley, Blue Valley Northwest, Blue Valley North, SM East, SM West, SM Northwest, and Olathe's district schools all hold proms within a tight April-to-May window — and every group coordinator in every school is calling at the same time. Demand for party bus and charter bus rentals in Overland Park peaks sharply, availability drops, and rates follow.
For prom: book by December or expect premium pricing or limited options by February. A standard 6-hour prom rental for 30 students — school pickup, photo stop, venue drop, after-party return — books for significantly less in December than it does in March. Parent committees and student groups call us early for exactly this reason.
We coordinate with school administrators on pickup logistics and make confirming the plan as simple as one call. 816-255-1970 — reserve your date before the window closes.

Overland Park School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Field trip coordination across Johnson County's school campuses means juggling parent volunteers, permission slips, and a transport plan that keeps 80 students accounted for from bell to bell. A charter bus handles the load — onboard PA systems, overhead storage for backpacks and lunch coolers, TV monitors to keep students engaged on longer drives, and undercarriage bays so the chaperones are not hauling bags through the exhibit hall.
Popular Overland Park-area destinations include Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead (13800 Switzer Rd, Overland Park, KS 66221), Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens (8909 W 179th St, Overland Park, KS 66013), and the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium (6800 Zoo Dr, Kansas City, MO 64132). For the Kansas City Zoo, bus parking is available on site with designated school group drop-off — one coordinated bus is far simpler than a column of parent vehicles hunting for spaces on Zoo Drive. ADA-accessible vehicles are always available; just let us know before the trip date so we can pair you with the right vehicle.
Call 816-255-1970 to reserve your school field trip bus.

Overland Park Sporting Event Transportation
Overland Park sits in the middle of one of the richest sports landscapes in the region. GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (1 Arrowhead Dr, Kansas City, MO 64129) is 30 miles northeast via I-435 and I-70 — a route that looks fast on paper and turns into a bumper-to-bumper crawl three hours before any Chiefs home game, with the Blue Ridge Cutoff interchange backing up long before you reach the stadium lots. Parking at Arrowhead costs $50+ per vehicle, and every car in your group needs its own pass.
A sporting event charter bus from Overland Park solves the math quickly: one vehicle, one parking arrangement, one flat rate split across the group — and everyone can actually enjoy the tailgate instead of trading off designated driver duty. Kansas Speedway (400 Speedway Blvd, Kansas City, KS 66111) on race weekends creates a similar situation on I-435 westbound, with Sporting KC matches at Sporting Park drawing crowds to Village West year-round. We handle the approach route and post-game timing so your group walks out of the venue to a bus that is already there.
Call 816-255-1970 to book your Overland Park sporting event bus rental.

Overland Park Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Overland Park and the surrounding Leawood and Lenexa corridor host some of the metro's most sought-after wedding venues — Mildale Farm, The Oread at KU, and the Overland Park Convention Center ballrooms among them — and the one thing none of them offer is abundant free parking for 150 guests on a Saturday night. Rather than asking out-of-town guests to navigate unfamiliar Johnson County surface roads and pay for valet, a wedding shuttle in Overland Park runs a clean loop between the hotel block and the venue all evening.
A 14-passenger Sprinter limo handles the bridal party on the wedding day itself, with premium leather seating and tinted windows for those pre-ceremony photos. Minibuses move guests without the wasted capacity of a full charter bus for smaller weddings. Because we have been coordinating wedding transportation across the metro since 2011, we know how to build a timeline that keeps the ceremony start on schedule even when the hotel lobby is running ten minutes behind.
Call 816-255-1970 for a free wedding transportation quote.

Overland Park Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
The Johnson County craft brewery and winery circuit has grown into a legitimate weekend draw. Sandhills Brewing (314 E Santa Fe Dr, Olathe, KS 66061) anchors the southern end; Lawrence Beer Co. is 45 minutes west for groups willing to make a day of it; and downtown Overland Park's Santa Fe Drive entertainment district packs several bars and restaurants into a walkable stretch that becomes a genuine crawl destination on weekend evenings. The problem is that "walkable" ends the moment you want to hit the next stop — and at that point someone has to drive.
An Overland Park pub crawl party bus rental keeps the group together between every stop, with the bar onboard so the celebration does not require a pit stop to stay fueled. No parking hunt at each new venue, no splitting into multiple cars, and no one stuck sober to shuttle the group home at the end of the night. We build the stop list around your itinerary — you name the spots, we plan the route.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Overland Park Party Bus Rentals
How much does a party bus cost in Overland Park?
Overland Park party bus rental prices vary based on vehicle size, date, and how long you need the bus. General ranges: 14-passenger Sprinter limos run $170–$344/hour; 15–20 passenger party buses run $204–$378/hour; 20–30 passenger party buses run $244–$414/hour; 35–50 passenger party buses and minibuses run $294–$490/hour; 40–56 passenger charter buses run $150–$300/hour or $1,200–$2,500/day. The fastest way to get a number for your specific date and headcount is to call 816-255-1970 — all-inclusive pricing in under 30 seconds, no hidden costs.
When is the busiest booking period in Overland Park — and what does waiting cost?
Johnson County's prom season (mid-April through late May) is the single tightest window for party bus and charter bus availability in the entire Overland Park and Kansas City metro. Blue Valley, Shawnee Mission, and Olathe district schools all hold proms within the same six-week stretch, and demand spikes sharply. Groups that book in December secure the right-size vehicle at the best available rate.
Groups that call in March often find fewer options and meaningfully higher pricing — sometimes $600–$1,000 more for the same vehicle. For prom: book by December. For most other events, two to four months of lead time gives you the best selection.
Which venues in Overland Park can a bus drop off directly at?
Most Overland Park venues — the Convention Center at 6000 College Blvd, Oak Park Mall at 11461 W 95th St, and banquet halls and event spaces throughout Leawood and the 135th Street corridor — have surface parking and loading areas that accommodate a full-size charter bus without prior coordination. Venues in downtown Kansas City and at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium follow specific commercial vehicle staging and may require pre-purchased bus parking passes. When you book with us, we confirm the drop point and approach route for your specific venue so there are no surprises on the day.
Can I book a bus for just a few hours, or does it need to be a full day?
Hourly bookings are available — most Overland Park party bus rentals run three to six hours depending on the occasion. A corporate shuttle loop between the Convention Center and nearby hotels might run two to three hours; a prom run typically books for five to six; a bachelorette night that starts at dinner and ends after last call could run eight. We build the quote around your actual itinerary, so you pay for what you use.
Call 816-255-1970 and a reservation specialist will build a quote from your headcount and timeline.
Can a charter bus handle a group coming in from multiple Overland Park hotels?
Yes — multi-stop pickups are standard. Wedding guests spread across two hotel blocks on Metcalf Avenue, a corporate group split between properties near College Boulevard and 135th Street, a school group with a church bus meeting point — we build the pickup sequence into the route from the start. The key is giving us all the pickup locations when you book so the timing is built correctly and no stop adds unnecessary mileage.
Multi-stop itineraries are priced transparently; call 816-255-1970 and we will map it out with you.
How far in advance should I book?
For most Overland Park occasions — birthdays, corporate events, bar crawls, sporting event runs — booking two to four weeks out is typically workable. For high-demand dates, the math changes fast: prom weekends require a December booking or earlier to guarantee availability; Chiefs playoff games at Arrowhead sell out metro-wide bus capacity within days of kickoff announcements; Kansas City Renaissance Festival weekends in September and October fill our calendar weeks ahead. The earlier you call, the better the vehicle options and the cleaner the pricing.
Call 816-255-1970 now to check your date.
Popular Overland Park Party Bus Destinations
Overland Park puts your group within easy reach of some of the metro's most popular venues — from family attractions and corporate convention spaces right in town to major stadiums and concert amphitheaters a quick highway run away. Here are six destinations groups from Overland Park book most often.

Overland Park Convention Center
The Overland Park Convention Center (6000 College Blvd, Overland Park, KS 66211) is Johnson County's primary conference and convention facility, with 244,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space that hosts trade shows, corporate summits, and public events year-round. Surface parking is available on site, and the College Boulevard frontage accommodates bus drop-off without the garage clearance issues you find at downtown KC venues. For large conferences pulling attendees from multiple hotel properties along Metcalf and 119th Street, a shuttle loop from the hotel block to the convention center front entrance keeps the morning registration schedule intact.
For evening galas or awards banquets, a charter bus handles the post-event return when rideshare demand predictably spikes.
Phone: (913) 339-3000

GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium
GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (1 Arrowhead Dr, Kansas City, MO 64129) is 30 miles northeast of central Overland Park via I-435 and I-70 East — straightforward on paper, a significant undertaking on a Chiefs home game Sunday when 70,000 fans converge on the Truman Sports Complex. All stadium lots require pre-purchased parking passes; none are sold day-of. Rideshare pickup is routed to designated zones that put a long walk between the final whistle and your car.
A charter bus from Overland Park drops your group at the stadium's designated commercial vehicle zone, cuts out the per-car parking pass cost, and waits for the post-game pickup so your crew is on the road while others are still hunting for their cars in Lot H. Bus parking at Arrowhead requires a pre-purchased commercial pass — we handle that as part of the booking.
Phone: (816) 920-9300

Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead
Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead (13800 Switzer Rd, Overland Park, KS 66221) is a free, city-operated living history farm open April through October that draws school groups, families, and birthday parties to its animal areas, wagon rides, and seasonal programming. Admission is free (small activity charges apply), making it one of the most cost-effective field trip destinations in Johnson County. Parking is available on site off Switzer Road, and the layout accommodates bus drop-off at the main entrance without requiring advance commercial vehicle registration.
For school groups, one coordinated bus is simpler and more accountable than a column of parent cars — and the onboard storage handles all the backpacks and lunchboxes so the group arrives ready to go.
Phone: (913) 897-2360

Kansas Speedway
Kansas Speedway (400 Speedway Blvd, Kansas City, KS 66111) hosts NASCAR Cup Series races, IndyCar events, and the Hollywood Casino 400 each fall, drawing crowds of 75,000-plus to the Village West corridor just off I-435 in Kansas City, Kansas — about 20 miles from Overland Park's core. On race weekends, I-435 westbound and the Speedway Boulevard interchange slow to a crawl for hours before green flag and hold for nearly as long afterward. Infield and main lot parking sells out well before race day for Cup events, and the walk from overflow lots is substantial.
A charter bus from Overland Park drops your group at the track's designated commercial vehicle entrance and takes the highway navigation off the table entirely. Book race-weekend transportation as soon as your tickets are confirmed — Cup Series weekend availability in the metro goes fast.
Phone: (913) 328-7223

Oak Park Mall
Oak Park Mall (11461 W 95th St, Overland Park, KS 66214) is the largest shopping mall in Kansas, anchored by Nordstrom, Dillard's, and a wide entertainment and dining complex that makes it a frequent destination for group outings, birthday mall trips, and corporate team events at its bowling and entertainment venues. The surface parking lots are large, and the main entrance on 95th Street is wide enough for bus drop-off without special coordination. For Sweet 16 and birthday group outings that pair shopping with dinner at a nearby restaurant, a party bus between multiple stops along the 95th Street and Metcalf corridor keeps the group together and the energy up between venues.
For holiday and peak shopping periods, traffic on 95th Street at Metcalf backs up significantly — one bus is a much simpler arrival.
Phone: (913) 888-4400

Azura Amphitheater
Azura Amphitheater (633 N 130th St, Bonner Springs, KS 66012) — formerly CommunityAmerica Amphitheater — is the metro's premier outdoor concert venue, seating up to 18,000 for national touring acts across its lawn and reserved sections. It sits at the end of a two-lane county road off K-32 in Bonner Springs, roughly 25 miles northwest of central Overland Park. On sell-out nights, the K-32 approach backs up for miles before the lot even opens, and post-show lot-exit waits routinely run 45 minutes to an hour.
There is no practical public transit connection. A concert bus rental from Overland Park arrives while the road is still clear, drops your group at the venue entrance, and waits off-site during the show so the bus is right there when the last song ends — your group is back on I-435 South while the rest of the lot is still queued. For big-name shows that sell out in advance, book your bus at the same time you buy your tickets.
